वयमद्येन्द्रस्य प्रेष्ठा वयं श्वो वोचेमहि समर्ये । वयं पुरा महि च नो अनु द्यून्तन्न ऋभुक्षा नरामनु ष्यात् ॥
vayám adyéndrasya préṣṭhā vayáṃ śvó vocemahi sa-maryé | vayáṃ purā́ máhi ca no ánu dyū́n tán na ṛbhukṣā́ nárām ánu syāt ||
เราทั้งหลายวันนี้เป็นผู้เป็นที่รักยิ่งของอินทระ; พรุ่งนี้ก็ยังปรารถนาจะประกาศถ้อยคำ ณ ที่คั้นบีบในศึก. เราเคยเป็นเช่นนี้มาแต่ก่อน ขอให้เป็นแก่เราตลอดวันคืนทั้งหลาย: ขอสิ่งนั้นเป็นของเรา ภายใต้การนำของฤภุคษะ ผู้ทรงพลังผู้ปั้นแต่งท่ามกลางมนุษย์.
