jīvaty api mahārāje tavaiva vacanaṃ vayam |

na atikramāmahe sarve velāṃ prāpyeva sāgaraḥ || 2.67.37 ||

แม้เมื่อมหาราชยังทรงพระชนม์อยู่ พวกเราทั้งปวงก็มิได้ล่วงละเมิดพระดำรัสของท่านเลย ดุจมหาสมุทรเมื่อถึงฝั่งแล้วก็ไม่ล้นข้ามเขตแดนของตน
