Proposal for Rāma’s Installation as Heir-Apparent
यद्यप्येषा मम प्रीतिर्हितमन्यद्विचिन्त्यताम्।अन्या मध्यस्थचिन्ता हि विमर्दाभ्यधिकोदया।।2.2.16।।
yady apy eṣā mama prītiḥ hitam anyad vicintyatām | anyā madhyastha-cintā hi vimardābhy adhikodayā || 2.2.16 ||
แม้สิ่งนี้จะเป็นที่พอพระทัยของข้าพเจ้า ก็ขอให้พิจารณาหนทางอื่นอันเกื้อกูลสวัสดีด้วย; เพราะความดำริของผู้เป็นกลางไม่ลำเอียง เมื่อไตร่ตรองโดยรอบคอบ ย่อมบังเกิดประโยชน์ยิ่งกว่า
