ātmanā vātmajaiś cānyair vṛṇeyaṁ manujarṣabham | tena rāmeṇa kaikeyi śape te vacanakriyām ||

Translation

แม้ข้าจะเลือกพระราม ผู้ประเสริฐยิ่งในหมู่มนุษย์ เหนือตนเอง เหนือบุตรทั้งหลาย และเหนือผู้อื่นทั้งหมด—โอ ไกเกยี ข้าขอสาบานต่อพระรามองค์นั้นเองว่า จะกระทำตามถ้อยคำที่เจ้าขอให้สำเร็จ
