गुणप्रशंसा–युवराजनिर्णयः
Praise of Rama’s Virtues and the Decision on the Heir-Apparent
वृद्धिकामो हि लोकस्य सर्वभूतानुकम्पनः।।।।मत्तः प्रियतरो लोके पर्जन्य इव वृष्टिमान्।
vṛddhikāmo hi lokasya sarvabhūtānukampanaḥ | mattaḥ priyataro loke parjanya iva vṛṣṭimān ||
“พระองค์ทรงปรารถนาความเจริญและผาสุกแก่โลก ทรงเมตตาต่อสรรพสัตว์ทั้งปวง สำหรับปวงชน พระองค์เป็นที่รักยิ่งกว่าเรา—ดุจปัรชัญญะ ผู้บันดาลฝน เมื่อโปรยปรายย่อมเป็นที่ชื่นใจ”
