दे॒वानां॑ हे॒तिः परि॑ त्वा वृणक्तु पा॒रया॑मि त्वा॒ रज॑स॒ उ॑त् त्वा॑ मृ॒त्योर॑पीपरम्। आ॒राद॒ग्निं क्र॒व्यादं॑ नि॒रूहं॑ जी॒वात॑वे ते परि॒धिं द॑धामि
devā́nāṃ hetíḥ pári tvā vṛṇaktu pārayā́mi tvā rájasa ú t tvā mṛtyór apīparam | ārā́d agníṃ kravyā́daṃ nirū́haṃ jīvā́tave te paridhíṃ dadhāmi ||
Let the Gods’ weapon close around thee. I bear thee through from out the region; from Death I have delivered thee. Far off the flesh-devouring Fire, the uprooting one— for thy living I set a boundary round about thee.
ขอให้อาวุธของเหล่าเทพโอบล้อมคุ้มครองท่าน. ข้าพาท่านข้ามพ้นจากแดนนี้; ข้าได้ช่วยท่านให้พ้นจากความตายแล้ว. จงให้ไฟผู้กินเนื้อ ผู้ถอนรากนั้นอยู่ไกล—เพื่อให้ท่านมีชีวิต ข้าตั้งเขตคุ้มกันล้อมรอบท่าน.
