Sukta 2
यत् ते॒ वासः॑ परि॒धानं॒ यां नी॒विं कृ॑णु॒षे त्वम्। शि॒वं ते॑ त॒न्वे॒३तत् कृ॑ण्मः संस्प॒र्शेऽद्रू॑क्ष्णमस्तु ते
yát te vā́saḥ paridhā́naṃ yā́ṃ nīvíṃ kṛṇuṣé tvám | śiváṃ te tanvé̀tát kṛṇmáḥ saṃspárśe ’drū́kṣṇam astu te ||
What garment of thine is for wearing, what girdle thou dost fasten on—this we appoint as gracious for thy body: in its very touch let it be to thee uninjuring.
ผ้าซึ่งท่านสวมใส่ และสายรัดเอวซึ่งท่านผูก—เรากำหนดสิ่งนี้ให้เป็นมงคลแก่กายของท่าน; แม้เพียงสัมผัสก็ขอให้ไม่ก่ออันตรายแก่ท่าน.
