Sukta 82
इ॒हैवाग्ने॒ अधि॑ धारया र॒यिं मा त्वा॒ नि क्र॒न् पूर्व॑चित्ता निका॒रिणः॑ । क्ष॒त्रेणा॑ग्ने सु॒यम॑मस्तु॒ तुभ्य॑मुपस॒त्ता व॑र्धतां ते॒ अनि॑ष्टृतः
iháivā́gne ádhi dhāraya rayíṃ mā́ tvā ní kran pū́rvacittā nikā́riṇaḥ | kṣatréṇā́gne suyámam astu túbhyam upasattā́ vardhatāṃ te ániṣṭṛtaḥ ||
Here, even here, O Agni, hold fast the treasure: let not the fore-plotting deceivers strike thee down. With ruling power, O Agni, be there good control for thee; let thine attendants increase, uninjured.
ที่นี่เอง ที่นี่จริง ๆ โออัคนี จงทรงไว้ให้มั่นซึ่งทรัพย์และความอุดม (rayi); ขออย่าให้พวกหลอกลวงผู้คิดการล่วงหน้าทำร้ายจนท่านล้มลง. ด้วยอำนาจกษัตริย์ (kṣatra) โออัคนี ขอให้มีการควบคุมอันดีแก่ท่าน; ขอให้ผู้ติดตามและผู้คุ้มกันของท่านเพิ่มพูน โดยไม่บาดเจ็บไม่เสียหาย.
