บทสวดปौष्टิกะเพียงหนึ่งบทนี้อัญเชิญพระสรัสวตีในฐานะ “ทรวงอก” อันไม่รู้สิ้นที่หล่อเลี้ยง ซึ่งจากนั้น “ทรัพย์อันพึงปรารถนา” (vāryāṇi) งอกงามและเจริญรุ่งเรือง ด้วยการสรรเสริญพระนางว่าเป็นผู้ประทานความรื่นรมย์ ผู้ทรงโปรดปรานผู้แสวงหาพร ผู้เรียกได้โดยง่าย และผู้ใจกว้าง มนต์นี้มุ่งให้เกิดความเพิ่มพูนอย่างมั่นคงของทรัพย์สิน ความมั่งคั่ง และความผาสุก ด้วยความอุดมไหลหลั่งของพระนาง
