ผู้ประทานสวัสดิภาพคือปูษัน (Pūṣan) ได้บังเกิดบนทางนำหน้าของหนทางทั้งปวง—บนทางนำหน้าของฟ้า บนทางนำหน้าของแผ่นดิน. ท่านมุ่งสู่สถานที่อันเป็นที่รักยิ่งทั้งสอง ณ ที่ประทับร่วมกัน เดินไปมา ทั้งมาและไป ด้วยความรู้แจ้ง รู้เท่าทันหมู่ชน.

Pūṣan is the Vedic guardian of paths and directions. This hymn calls him “welfare-giver” and asks him to go ahead of the traveler, remove fear, and guide by the safest route.
