नास्य॑ जा॒या श॑तवा॒ही क॑ल्या॒णी तल्प॒मा श॑ये । यस्मि॑न् रा॒ष्ट्रे नि॑रु॒ध्यते॑ ब्रह्मजा॒याचि॑त्त्या

IAST Transliteration

nā́syā jāyā́ śatavāhī́ kalyāṇī́ talpám ā́ śaye | yásmin rāṣṭré nirudhyáte brahmajāyā́cittyā ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

No wife of his, auspicious, bringing a hundred boons, lies down upon the marriage-bed, in that realm wherein one is held in check for the intent toward the Brahman’s wife.

ในแว่นแคว้นใดที่ผู้คนถูกกักข่มเพราะมีความคิดมุ่งต่อภรรยาของพราหมณ์ ในแว่นแคว้นนั้น ภรรยาผู้เป็นมงคล ผู้ประทานพรนับร้อยของเขา ย่อมไม่เอนกายลงบนเตียงวิวาห์
