Sukta 14

अग्ने॒ प्रेहि॑ प्रथ॒मो दे॒वता॑नां॒ चक्षु॑र्दे॒वाना॑मु॒त मानु॑षानाम्। इय॑क्षमाणा॒ भृगु॑भिः स॒जोषाः॒ स्वऽर्यन्तु॒ यज॑मानाः स्व॒स्ति

ágne préhi prathamó devátānāṃ cákṣur devā́nām utá mā́nuṣāṇām | íyakṣamāṇā bhṛ́gubhiḥ sajóṣāḥ svàr-yántu yájamānāḥ svastí

Agni, go forth—first of the Gods art thou, the Eye of Gods and likewise of mankind. In sacrifice, in concord with the Bhṛgus, let the sacrificers fare to Svàr in weal.

อัคนี (Agni) เอ๋ย จงก้าวไปก่อน—ท่านเป็นองค์แรกแห่งเทพทั้งหลาย เป็นดวงตาแห่งเทพทั้งหลาย และเป็นดวงตาแห่งมนุษย์ด้วย. ในพิธีบูชา ขอให้ผู้บูชายัญทั้งหลายร่วมสอดคล้องกับภฤคุ (Bhṛgu) และจงไปสู่สวรฺ (Svàr) ด้วยความสวัสดี.
