Sukta 23
आ ते॒ योनिं॒ गर्भ॑ एतु॒ पुमा॒न् बाण॑ इवेषु॒धिम्। आ वी॒रोऽत्र॑ जायतां पु॒त्रस्ते॒ दश॑मास्यः
ā́ te yóniṃ gárbha etu pumā́n bā́ṇa ivéṣudhím | ā́ vīró ’trá jāyatāṃ putrás te dáśa-māsyaḥ |
Into thy womb let the embryo come, a male, as an arrow into the quiver. Here let a hero be born—a son to thee, of ten months’ bearing.
ขอให้ตัวอ่อนเข้าสู่ครรภ์ของท่าน เป็นเพศชาย ดุจลูกศรเข้าสู่แล่งศร ณ ที่นี้ขอให้วีรบุรุษถือกำเนิด—เป็นบุตรของท่าน ผู้ครบสิบเดือนในครรภ์
