Sukta 18
इ॒च्छन्ति॑ दे॒वाः सु॒न्वन्तं॒ न स्वप्ना॑य स्पृहयन्ति । यन्ति॑ प्र॒माद॒मत॑न्द्राः
icchánti devā́ḥ sunvántam ná svapnā́ya spṛhayanti | yánti pramā́dam atándrāḥ ||
The gods desire the soma-presser; they long not for sleep. Unwearied, they go unto (him who avoids) negligence.
เหล่าเทพปรารถนาผู้คั้นโสมะ; หาได้โหยหาการหลับใหลไม่. ไม่อ่อนล้า ไม่ทอดทิ้งความเพียร เขาทั้งหลายย่อมไปสู่ผู้ที่ห่างไกลจากความประมาท.
