Forth, O Singer, bring thou inspired thought, a winner of kine, a winner of goodly wealth. God-ward whet thou this speech—an arrow—(and) a ship with its steersman for the crossing.
Rishi: Traditionally Rigvedic attribution (AV 20 parallels RV material); specific r̥ṣi not securely determinable from the provided excerpt alone.
Devata: Vāc / protective-praise directed ‘devatrā’ (god-ward); implicitly the royal-protective divine order.
Chandas: Likely Triṣṭubh/Jagatī-type cadence typical of RV-style material in AV 20; exact meter requires full pada syllable count with accent text.
Primary: vira
Secondary: shanta
