येऽत्र॑ पि॒तरः॑ पि॒तरो॒ येऽत्र॑ यू॒यं स्थ यु॒ष्मांस्तेऽनु॑ यू॒यं तेषां॒ श्रेष्ठा॑ भूयास्थ

yé’trá pitáraḥ pitáro yé’trá yūyáṃ sthá yuṣmā́ṃs té’nu yūyáṃ téṣāṃ śréṣṭhā bhūyātha

Ye Fathers who are here—ye Fathers who are here and stand present—after you, in your track, may those (of ours) become pre-eminent among them.

โอ บรรพชนผู้สถิต ณ ที่นี้—โอ บรรพชนผู้สถิต ณ ที่นี้และยืนอยู่ต่อหน้า—ขอให้คนของเราทั้งหลายตามรอยท่านทั้งหลายไป และเป็นผู้ประเสริฐยิ่งในหมู่ท่านเหล่านั้นเถิด.
