Sukta 17

तस्य॒ व्रात्य॑स्य ।योऽस्य चतु॒र्थो व्या॒नस्तानि॒ नक्ष॑त्राणि

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 15.17.4

tásya vrā́tyasya | yó ’sya caturthó vyā́nás tā́ni nákṣatrāṇi

Of that Vratya: that which is his fourth—Vyāna, the pervading breath—those are the Asterisms.

ว่าด้วยวราตยะ (Vratya) นั้น: สิ่งที่เป็นลำดับที่สี่ของเขา—ลมหายใจผู้แผ่ซ่าน “วยานะ” (Vyāna)—สิ่งเหล่านั้นคือ “นักษัตร” (nakṣatra, หมู่ดาว/ดาวฤกษ์ประจำฤกษ์).
