आ दे॒वेषु॑ वृश्चते अहु॒तम॑स्य भवति

ā́ devéṣu vṛścáte ahutám asya bhávati

Unto the Gods it is, as it were, cut away: for him the unoffered oblation comes to be (as offered).

(เครื่องบูชานั้น) ประหนึ่งถูกตัดออกไปถึงเหล่าเทพ; สำหรับเขา เครื่องบูชาที่มิได้ถวายก็กลับเป็นดุจได้ถวายแล้ว.
