एक॑पा॒द् द्विप॑दो॒ भूयो॒ वि च॑क्रमे॒ द्विपा॒त् त्रिपा॑दम॒भ्येऽति प॒श्चात्। द्विपा॑द्ध॒ षट्प॑दो॒ भूयो॒ वि च॑क्रमे॒ त एक॑पदस्त॒न्वं॑१ समा॑सते
ékāpād dvípado bhū́yo ví cakrame dvípāt trípādam abhyèti paścā́t | dvípād dha ṣáṭpado bhū́yo ví cakrame té ékapadas tanvàm samā́sate ||
One-footed, he strode forth again as two-footed; from the two-footed he overtakes, thereafter, the three-footed. From the two-footed, indeed, he strode forth again as six-footed: those one-footed forms settle together into one body.
ผู้มีเท้าเดียวได้ก้าวออกไปอีกครั้ง กลายเป็นผู้มีสองเท้า; จากผู้มีสองเท้า เขาตามทันและแซงผู้มีสามเท้าในภายหลัง. จริงแท้ จากผู้มีสองเท้า เขาก้าวออกไปอีกครั้ง กลายเป็นผู้มีหกเท้า; รูปภาวะแห่งผู้มีเท้าเดียวเหล่านั้นย่อมรวมกันและตั้งอยู่ในกาย (tanū) เดียว.
