The splendour of the Waters, their light, their vital force and strength, and, moreover, the efficacies of the Lords of the Forest—these, Indra-like powers, we set and bear upon ourselves herein; so, made effectual, bearing the gold, he carries that might.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (often attributed broadly to Atharvan/Angiras line for charm-hymns; verse-level attribution not explicit here).
Devata: Composite potency: Waters (Āpas), Vanaspati (plants), with Indra as empowering paradigm; gold as material support.
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (probable; Atharvanic charm-verses commonly in anuṣṭubh—confirmable against pada-count in a critical edition).
Primary: adbhuta
Secondary: vira
