durbhikṣapīḍito 'tyantaṃ sabhāryo dakṣiṇāṃ gataḥ || śivanadyāḥ dakṣiṇe tu kūle sa varapattane
తీవ్ర క్షామంతో అత్యంత బాధపడుతూ అతడు భార్యతో కలిసి దక్షిణానికి వెళ్లాడు. శివా నది దక్షిణ తీరంలో వరపట్టణంలో అతడు నివసించాడు.
