समुद्रिया अप्सरसो मनीषिणमासीना अन्तरभि सोममक्षरन् । ता ईं हिन्वन्ति हर्म्यस्य सक्षणिं याचन्ते सुम्नं पवमानमक्षितम् ॥
samudriyā́ apsáraso manīṣíṇam āsī́nā antár abhí sómam akṣaran | tā́ īṃ hinvanti harmyásya sákṣaṇiṃ yā́cante súmnaṃ pávamānam ákṣitam ||
సముద్రియా అప్సరసః—సముద్రజాతులు—మనీషిణం (చింతనశీలుడు/ఋషి-మనస్సు) లోపల ఆసీనులై, అతనిపై సోమాన్ని అక్షరన్—పోసారు. వారు అతనిని హర్మ్యస్య సక్షణిం—ఉన్నత గృహం/ప్రాసాద సాంగత్యం—వైపు హిన్వంతి, ప్రేరేపిస్తారు; మరియు పవమాన సోముని నుండి అక్షితం సుమ్నం—అక్షయ కృప—యాచంతే, కోరుతారు.
