Transliteration
úd yád bradhnásya viṣṭápaṃ gṛhám índraś ca gánvahi | mádhvaḥ pītvā́ sacevahi tríḥ saptá sákhyuḥ padé ||
Translation
నీవు ఉదిత బ్రధ్న (దీప్తిమంతుడు) యొక్క విశాల లోకం—అతని గృహం—వైపు आरोహణం చేసినప్పుడు, అక్కడికి వెళ్లు, ఓ ఇంద్రా; మధు (సోమరసం) పానంచేసి, మాతో సఖ్యంగా కలిసి నడుచు—మైత్రి యొక్క త్రిః-సప్త (ఇరవై ఒకటి) పదాలలో.
