नदं व ओदतीनां नदं योयुवतीनाम् । पतिं वो अघ्न्यानां धेनूनामिषुध्यसि ॥

Transliteration

nadáṃ va odátīnām nadáṃ yóyuvatīnām | pátiṃ vo ághnyānāṃ dhenū́nām iṣudhyasi ||

Translation

నీవు నీ ఉప్పొంగే శక్తులకు నాదమయ ప్రవాహమవుతావు; ఎల్లప్పుడూ యోగమయ్యే బలాలకు ధ్వనించే స్రోతస్వవుతావు. నీవు ‘అఘ్న్యా’—అవధ్య గోవులు, దోహన-ధారలు—వాటి అధిపతి; పోషక ‘ఇష్’ మా అంతరంలో స్థిరంగా నిలవడానికి.
