Transliteration

amūraḥ kavír áditir vivásvān su-saṃsán mitró átithiḥ śivó naḥ | citrábhānur uṣásām bhāty ágre 'pā́m gárbhaḥ prasvá ā viveśa ||

Translation

ఆయన అమూరః—మోహరహితుడు—కవి; అదితి, సమస్తాన్ని ఆవరించే విశాలత; వివస్వాన్, కాంతిమంతుడు; మిత్ర, ఋత-సమన్వయధర్మం యొక్క; మా గృహానికి శివ అతిథి. ఆయన చిత్రభాను, ఉషస్సుల ముందుభాగంలో ప్రకాశిస్తాడు; అపాం గర్భః—జలాల గర్భం/శిశువు—ప్రస్వ (ముందుకు నడిపించే)గా అవతరణలో ప్రవేశించాడు.
