Sukta 7.56
दशस्यन्तो नो मरुतो मृळन्तु वरिवस्यन्तो रोदसी सुमेके । आरे गोहा नृहा वधो वो अस्तु सुम्नेभिरस्मे वसवो नमध्वम् ॥
daśasyánto no marúto mṛḷantu varivasyánto ródasī suméke | āré go-hā́ nṛ-hā́ vadhó vo astu sumnébhiḥ asmē vasavo namadhvam ||
మాకు యశస్సు (దశస్య) కలిగించేవారై, ఓ మరుతులారా, మాపై కరుణ చూపండి; మార్గాన్ని విస్తరించేవారై, ఓ సుమేక (సుందర-బలవంతులారా), రెండు రోదసీ (ద్యావా-పృథివీ)లను సేవించండి. మాకు దూరంగా ఉండుగాక గోహా (గో-హంతా) మరియు నృహా (నర-హంతా); మీ వధ (వినాశం) కూడా మాకు దూరంగా ఉండుగాక. ఓ వసువులారా, మీ సుమ్న (కల్యాణ అనుగ్రహం)తో మాకు సహాయార్థం మా వైపు నమ్రులై రండి.
