Sukta 7.30
वयं ते त इन्द्र ये च देव स्तवन्त शूर ददतो मघानि । यच्छा सूरिभ्य उपमं वरूथं स्वाभुवो जरणामश्नवन्त ॥
vayáṃ te ta indra yé ca deva stávanta śūra dádataḥ maghā́ni | yáchā sūríbhya upa-máṃ varū́thaṃ sv-ā́bhuvo jaraṇā́m aśnavanta ||
ఓ ఇంద్రా, ఓ దేవా, ఓ శూరా, మేము మరియు నిన్ను స్తుతించువారు—‘మఘ’ (సమృద్ధి దానాలు) ఇచ్చువారు—ఆ ‘సూరిభ్యః’ (ఋషి-ప్రభువులకు) పరమ ‘వరూథ’ (రక్షణ) ప్రసాదించుము; ‘స్వాభువః’ (తమ స్వశక్తితో) వారు ‘జరణా’—స్థిరంగా తట్టుకొని, కర్మలో పరిపక్వమగు శక్తి—సాధించునట్లు.
