यः सत्राहा विचर्षणिरिन्द्रं तं हूमहे वयम् । सहस्रमुष्क तुविनृम्ण सत्पते भवा समत्सु नो वृधे ॥
yáḥ satrāhā́ vícarṣaṇir índraṃ táṃ hūmahe vayám | sáhasramuṣka tuvínṛmṇa sátpate bhávā samátsu no vṛ́dhe ||
ఎల్లప్పుడూ జయించే, విశాలాధిపత్యముగల ఇంద్రుని—అతనినే మేము పిలుస్తాము. ఓ సహస్రబలుడా, ఓ మహావీర్యుడా, ఓ సత్యపతీ, మా సమరాలలో మాకు వృద్ధి-ఉన్నతిగా భవించు.
