Sukta 6.44

Rishi: Bharadvāja Bārhaspatya (traditional)
Devata: Soma (Indu) in alliance with Indra

अयं देवः सहसा जायमान इन्द्रेण युजा पणिमस्तभायत् । अयं स्वस्य पितुरायुधानीन्दुरमुष्णादशिवस्य मायाः ॥

ayáṃ deváḥ sáhasā jā́yamāna índreṇa yujā́ paṇím astabhāyat | ayáṃ svásya pitúr ā́yudhānī́ndur amuṣṇād áśivasya māyā́ḥ ||

ఈ దేవుడు సహసా (బలంతో) జన్మించి, ఇంద్రుణ్ని యుగ-సహచరుడిగా చేసుకొని, పణిని కూల్చివేశాడు. ఈ ఇందు, అశివుని (అనుగ్రహరహితుని) మాయల నుండి, తన తండ్రి ఆయుధాలను దొంగిలించి తిరిగి తెచ్చాడు।
