Sukta 5.60
यदुत्तमे मरुतो मध्यमे वा यद्वावमे सुभगासो दिवि ष्ठ । अतो नो रुद्रा उत वा न्वस्याग्ने वित्ताद्धविषो यद्यजाम ॥
yad uttame maruto madhyame vā yad vāvame subhagāso divi stha | ato no rudrā uta vā nu asyāgne vittād haviṣo yad yajāma ||
హే మరుతులారా, సుభగులారా, మీరు ఉత్తమ ప్రాంతంలో ఉన్నా, మధ్యమంలో ఉన్నా, లేదా అవమ (నిమ్న) ప్రాంతంలో ఉన్నా—దివి-ష్ఠ (దివ్యలోకంలో స్థితులైన)వారై; అందుచేత, హే రుద్రగణమా, మమ్మల్ని కూడా గమనించి తెలుసుకోండి. అలాగే, హే అగ్నీ, మేము యజ్ఞంలో అర్పించే హవిస్ (ఆహుతి) ను నీవు కూడా తెలిసికొనుము.
