Sukta 4.41
इन्द्रा को वां वरुणा सुम्नमाप स्तोमो हविष्माँ अमृतो न होता । यो वां हृदि क्रतुमाँ अस्मदुक्तः पस्पर्शदिन्द्रावरुणा नमस्वान् ॥
índrā́ kó vāṃ varuṇā́ sumnám āpa stómo havíṣmāṃ amṛ́to ná hótā | yó vāṃ hṛdí krátumān asmád uktaḥ pásparśad indrāvaruṇā́ námasvān ||
హే ఇంద్రా, వరుణా! అమృత హోతా వలె హవిష్తో కూడిన ఏ స్తోత్రం మీ సుమ్నం (అనుగ్రహం) వరకు చేరింది? మా ఉక్తం—హృదయంలో క్రతు (సంకల్ప-శక్తి) కలది—నమస్కరిస్తూ, ఓ ఇంద్ర-వరుణా, మిమ్మల్ని స్పర్శించింది.
