Sukta 4.2
आ यूथेव क्षुमति पश्वो अख्यद्देवानां यज्जनिमान्त्युग्र । मर्तानां चिदुर्वशीरकृप्रन्वृधे चिदर्य उपरस्यायोः ॥
ā́ yū́theva kṣu-máti paśvó akhyad devā́nāṃ yáj jánimā́nty ùgra | mártānāṃ cid urváśīr akṛpran vṛdhé cid aryá úparasy āyóḥ ||
యూథం (గుంపు) వలె, క్షుమత్ (సమృద్ధమైన) పశు-శక్తులు అప్పుడు దర్శనమయ్యాయి—దేవానాం ఆ ఉగ్ర జనిమా సమీపించినప్పుడు. మర్త్యులకూ ఉర్వశీలు (విస్తృత-ప్రకాశ ప్రేరణలు) నిర్మితమయ్యాయి; వృద్ధికోసమూ ఆర్యుడు (శ్రేష్ఠుడు) ఆ పైస్థాయి ఆయు/ప్రాణశక్తిని పొందాడు.
