Transliteration
sasarparī́r ámatiṃ bā́dhamānā bṛhán mimāya jamádagni-dattā | ā́ sū́ryasya duhitā́ tatāna śrávo deveṣv amṛ́tam ajúryam ||
Translation
ససర్పరీ అనృత/అధర్మ మనస్సును నెట్టి అణచి, బృహత్ (విస్తారాన్ని) కొలిచింది; జమదగ్ని-దత్తగా, సూర్యుని దుహిత దేవుల మధ్య అమృతమైన, అజరమైన శ్రవస్ (శ్రుతి-యశస్సు)ను విస్తరించింది.
