Sukta 3.53
किं ते कृण्वन्ति कीकटेषु गावो नाशिरं दुह्रे न तपन्ति घर्मम् । आ नो भर प्रमगन्दस्य वेदो नैचाशाखं मघवन्रन्धया नः ॥
kíṃ te kṛṇvanti kī́kaṭeṣu gā́vo ná āśíraṃ duhré ná tapanti gharmám | ā́ no bhara prá-magandasya védो naicāśā́khaṃ maghavan randhayā naḥ ||
కీకటుల మధ్య నీ గావులు/కాంతికిరణాలు ఏమి చేస్తాయి—అక్కడ అవి రసభరితమైన పాలను దోహవు, ఘృత-తాపాన్ని కూడా రగిలించవు. వికృత సువాసనలో సంచరించువానిలోనుండి సత్య వేదం (జ్ఞానం)ను మా వద్దకు తెమ్ము; మరియు హే మఘవన్, సత్కుల-పరంపరకు చెందని శాఖలేని/అన్య మొలకను మా కోసం వశపరచు.
