Sukta 2.31
उत त्ये देवी सुभगे मिथूदृशोषासानक्ता जगतामपीजुवा । स्तुषे यद्वां पृथिवि नव्यसा वचः स्थातुश्च वयस्त्रिवया उपस्तिरे ॥
utá tyé devī́ subhágē mithū-dṛ́śo uṣásā-náktā jágatām api-júvā | stuṣé yád vāṃ pṛthivi návyasā vácas sthātúś ca váyas trí-vayā upa-stíre ||
మరియు ఆ రెండు దేవతలు—సుభగలు, ఏకదృష్టి గల జంట—ఉషా మరియు రాత్రి, చలించే సమస్త జగత్తును ముందుకు నడిపించువారు; హే పృథివీ, నేను నూతన వచనంతో మీ స్తుతి చేయునప్పుడు, స్థావర సత్త్వమూ, త్రివిధ జీవనపు రెక్కల శక్తులూ, నీ వృద్ధికై ఉపస్తిరం (శయ్యవంటి ఆధారం)గా విస్తరించుచున్నవి.
