Sukta 10.39
पुराणा वां वीर्या प्र ब्रवा जनेऽथो हासथुर्भिषजा मयोभुवा । ता वां नु नव्याववसे करामहेऽयं नासत्या श्रदरिर्यथा दधत् ॥
purāṇā́ vām vīryā̀ prá bravā jáne 'thó ha āsathuḥ bhiṣájā mayó-bhuvā | tā́ vām nú návyāv ávase karāmahe 'yáṃ nāsatyā śrád arír yáthā dádhat ||
మనుష్యుల మధ్య మీ ప్రాచీన వీర్యకార్యాలను నేను ప్రకటిస్తున్నాను; అట్లే మీరు ఆనందాన్ని కలిగించే భిషజులు (వైద్యులు) అయ్యారు. ఆzelfde శక్తులనే—ఎప్పుడూ నవ్యంగా ఉండేవాటిని—ఇప్పుడు మాకు ఉపకారంగా మేము మలుచుకుంటున్నాము; ఇక్కడ, ఓ నాసత్యులారా, సత్యంగా తనను అర్పించే యజ్ఞబలంలో మీరు శ్రద్ధను స్థాపించండి.
