पुनानः सोम धारयेन्दो विश्वा अप स्रिधः । जहि रक्षांसि सुक्रतो ॥

Transliteration

punānáḥ soma dhā́rayéndo víśvā apa srídhaḥ | jahí rákṣāṃsi sukrato ||

Translation

ஓ சோமா! தாரையில் பவமானனாகி, ஓ இந்து! எல்லா ஸ்ரித் (வளைவு/குட்டிலம்) நீக்குவாயாக; ஓ ஸுக்ரது (நல்ல செயலில் வல்லவன்), ரக்ஷாஂஸி (இருள்-அரக்க சக்திகள்) அழிப்பாயாக.
