स नः पुनान आ भर रयिं स्तोत्रे सुवीर्यम् । जरितुर्वर्धया गिरः ॥
Transliteration
sa naḥ punāná ā́ bhara rayíṃ stotré su-vī́ryam | jaritúr vardhayā gíraḥ ||
Translation
ஓ சோமா! நீ உன்னைத் தூய்மைப்படுத்திக் கொண்டிருக்கையில், எங்கள் ஸ்தோத்திரத்திற்காக ‘ரயி’—இருப்பின் நிறைவு நிறைந்த செல்வம்—கொண்டு வா; சு-வீர்யம் (வீரவலிமை) உடைய அந்தச் செல்வத்தை அருள்வாயாக; மேலும் ஜரித்ரு (பாடகர்/ஸ்துதிப்பவர்) என்பவனின் ஊக்கமுற்ற வாக்குகள் (கிரः) வளரச் செய்.
