अभि गावो अनूषत योषा जारमिव प्रियम् । अगन्नाजिं यथा हितम् ॥
Transliteration
abhí gā́vo anūṣata yóṣā jā́ram iva priyám | ágan ājím yáthā hitám ||
Translation
காவுகள் (கதிர்கள்) மகிழ் ஒலியுடன் அவனை நோக்கி பாய்கின்றன; மணமகள் தன் பிரிய ஜாரன் (காதலன்) நோக்கிச் செல்வதுபோல். அவை இலக்கை நோக்கி நகர்கின்றன—நியதமாகவும் உரிய இடத்தில் வைக்கப்பட்ட பரிசை நோக்கிச் செல்லுமாறே.
