अभि ते मधुना पयोऽथर्वाणो अशिश्रयुः । देवं देवाय देवयु ॥
Transliteration
abhí te mádhunā páyo átharvāṇo aśiśrayuḥ | deváṃ devā́ya deva-yú ||
Translation
அதர்வணர்கள் தேன் கலந்த பால் (பயஸ்) கொண்டு உம்மை அணுகி அடைக்கலம் கொண்டனர். தேவர்களை நாடும் (தேவயு)ோர், தேவனை தேவனுக்காக அர்ப்பணிக்கின்றனர்.
