Sukta 8.97
यद्वासि रोचने दिवः समुद्रस्याधि विष्टपि । यत्पार्थिवे सदने वृत्रहन्तम यदन्तरिक्ष आ गहि ॥
yád vā́si rocané diváḥ samudrásyādhi viṣṭápi | yát pārthivé sádane vṛtrahan-tama yád antárikṣe ā́ gahi ||
நீ விண்ணுலகின் ஒளிரும் ரோசனத் தாமத்தில் இருப்பினும், அல்லது இருப்பின் சமுத்திரத்தின் மேல் உள்ள உச்சி-ஆசனத்தில் இருப்பினும், அல்லது பூமியின் இருப்பிடத்தில் இருப்பினும்—ஓ மிகுந்த வ்ருத்ரஹந்தம! அல்லது அந்தரிக்ஷத்தில் இருப்பினும்—இங்கே வா.
