Sukta 8.96
अतिविद्धा विथुरेणा चिदस्त्रा त्रिः सप्त सानु संहिता गिरीणाम् । न तद्देवो न मर्त्यस्तुतुर्याद्यानि प्रवृद्धो वृषभश्चकार ॥
atí-viddhā vithuréṇa cid ástrā triḥ-saptá sā́nu sáṃ-hitā girīṇā́m | ná tád devó ná mártyas tuturyā́d yā́ni prá-vṛddho vṛ́ṣabhaś cakā́ra ||
வன்மையான அதிர்ச்சியால் துளைக்கப்பட்ட ஆயுதங்களும், மலைகளின் திரிஃ-ஸப்த (மூன்று முறை ஏழு) இணைந்த சிகரத் தொடர்களும்—அந்தச் செயல்களை எந்தத் தேவனும், எந்த மானிடனும் எட்டவோ முந்தவோ இயலாது; அவற்றை வளர்ந்த வ்ருஷபன் (பராக்கிரமப் புல்-ரூபன்) செய்தான்.
