Sukta 7.27
य इन्द्र शुष्मो मघवन्ते अस्ति शिक्षा सखिभ्यः पुरुहूत नृभ्यः । त्वं हि दृळ्हा मघवन्विचेता अपा वृधि परिवृतं न राधः ॥
yá índra śúṣmo maghavante ásti śíkṣā sákhī-bhyaḥ puru-hūta nṛ́-bhyaḥ | tváṁ hí dṛḷhā́ maghavan ví-cetā ápa vṛdhi pári-vṛtaṁ ná rā́dhaḥ ||
ஓ இந்திரா, ஓ மகவன்—உன்னுடைய சுஷ்மம் (உக்கிரப் பராக்கிரமம்) எங்களின் சகர்களுக்கும், உன்னைப் பலமுறை அழைக்கும் மனித-சக்திகளுக்கும் கற்றுக்கொடு. நீ உறுதியானவன், ஓ மகவன், விரிந்த அறிவுடையவன்; சுற்றி மூடப்பட்டதுபோல் இருக்கும் ராதஸ் (செல்வத்தை) வளர்த்து வெளிக்கொணர்.
