Transliteration

udū́ ayā́m upavaktéva bāhū́ hiraṇyáyā savitā́ suprátīkā | divó rohā́ṃsy aruhat pṛthivyā́ arī́ramat patáyat kác cid ábhvam ||

Translation

மேலே அவர் தம் புயங்களை விரிக்கிறார்; செயலைத் தூண்டி நடத்தும் ஒருவன் போல—ஹிரண்யமய சவிதா, சுப்ரதீகன் (அழகிய வெளிப்பாடு உடையவன்). பூமியின் விரிவிலிருந்து எழுந்து, அவர் த்யுலோகத்தின் உயர்வுகளைக் கடக்கிறார்; எல்லாவற்றையும் ‘ருத’த்தில் நிலைநிறுத்தி சரியான இயக்கத்தில் செலுத்துகிறார்; அறியாப் பெருவெளி (அப்வ) வழியிலும் பறந்து செல்பவன் போல் செயற்படுகிறார்.
