Sukta 6.3
स इदस्तेव प्रति धादसिष्यञ्छिशीत तेजोऽयसो न धाराम् । चित्रध्रजतिररतिर्यो अक्तोर्वेर्न द्रुषद्वा रघुपत्मजंहाः ॥
sá íd astéva práti dhād asiṣyáñ chīśīta téjo ayáso na dhā́rām | citrá-dhrajatir aratír yó aktór vér na dru-sádvā raghupátma-jaṃhāḥ ||
இலக்கை நோக்கி நிற்பவன் போல அவன் தன்னை நிலைநிறுத்துகிறான்; அயஸ் (இரும்பு) நுனி போல தன் தேஜஸைத் தீட்டுகிறான். ஒளிரும் கொடிபோல் பிரகாச ஓட்டத்துடன், அயராது, இரவில் மரத்தின் மீது பறவைபோல் செல்கிறான்—விரைவு-சிறகு, துரித-அடி, வேகமிகு.
