व्युच्छा दुहितर्दिवो मा चिरं तनुथा अपः । नेत्त्वा स्तेनं यथा रिपुं तपाति सूरो अर्चिषा सुजाते अश्वसूनृते ॥

Transliteration

vyùcchā duhitar divo mā́ ciráṃ tanuthā́ ápaḥ | nét tvā stenáṃ yáthā ripúṃ tápāti sū́ro arcíṣā sujāte aśvasūnṛte ||

Translation

ஹே திவத்தின் மகளே, வ்யுச்ச—ஒளிர்ந்து எழு; தாமதத்தின் நீர்களை நீண்ட நேரம் விரிக்காதே. சூரியன் தன் அர்ச்சியால் உன்னைத் தகிக்கச் செய்யாதிருக்கட்டும்—அவன் திருடன், பகைவனை எரிப்பதுபோல்; ஹே சுஜாதே, அஸ்வ-பலம் தருபவளே, ஸூந்ருதா தருபவளே.
