इदमु त्यन्महि महामनीकं यदुस्रिया सचत पूर्व्यं गौः । ऋतस्य पदे अधि दीद्यानं गुहा रघुष्यद्रघुयद्विवेद ॥
idám u tyán máhi mahā́m anī́kaṃ yád usríyā sácata pū́rvyaṃ gáuḥ | ṛtásya padé ádhi dī́dyānaṃ guhā́ raghú-syad raghú-yad viveda ||
இதுவே அந்த மாபெரும், விரிந்த தேஜோமுகம்—ஆதி பசு உஸ்ரியாஃ (கதிர்கள்) உடன் இணையும் போது. Ṛta-வின் பதத்தில் ஜ்வலித்து, குகையில் மறைந்திருப்பதை, ரகு (வேகமுடைய) தேடுபவன் வேகமான முன்னேற்றத்தால் கண்டடைகிறான்; சத்தியத்தின் ஒளி-ஆசனத்தைப் பெறுகிறான்.
