अञ्जन्ति त्वामध्वरे देवयन्तो वनस्पते मधुना दैव्येन । यदूर्ध्वस्तिष्ठा द्रविणेह धत्ताद्यद्वा क्षयो मातुरस्या उपस्थे ॥
añjanti tvām adhvaré deva-yánto vánaspate mádhunā daivyéna | yád ūrdhvás tíṣṭhā dráviṇeha dhattā́t yád vā́ kṣáyo mātúr asyā́ upásthe ||
யாகத்தில் தேவயந்த (தேவரை நாடும்) மக்கள், வனஸ்பதே, உன்னை தெய்வீக மதுவால் அபிஷேகம் செய்கின்றனர். நீ உயர்ந்து நின்றபோது, இங்கே திரவிண (உள்ளார்ந்த செல்வம்) நிலைபெறச் செய்; அல்லது இந்தத் தாயின் (பூமியின்) மடியில் நீ வாசம் கொண்டிருக்கும்போதும், அந்தப் பயனை உறுதிப்படுத்து.
