Sukta 3.19
भूरीणि हि त्वे दधिरे अनीकाग्ने देवस्य यज्यवो जनासः । स आ वह देवतातिं यविष्ठ शर्धो यदद्य दिव्यं यजासि ॥
bhūrī́ṇi hí tvé dadhire anī́kāgne devásya yájyavo jánāsaḥ | sá ā́ vaha devátātiṃ yaviṣṭha śárdho yád adyá divyáṃ yájāsi ||
ஏனெனில், அக்னியே, யஜ்ய தேவனுக்குத் தகுதியான மக்கள் உன்னுள் பல ‘அநீக’ (முன்னணி வல்லமைகள்) நிறுவியுள்ளனர். ஆகவே, யவிஷ்ட (இளையவன்) ஆக்னியே, தேவதைகளின் கூட்டத்தை இங்கே கொண்டு வா; இன்று நீ திவ்யமான, ஒளிமிக்க ‘ஷர்த’ (குழு)-வை யஜனம் செய்கிறாய்.
