Sukta 2.38
आशुभिश्चिद्यान्वि मुचाति नूनमरीरमदतमानं चिदेतोः । अह्यर्षूणां चिन्न्ययाँ अविष्यामनु व्रतं सवितुर्मोक्यागात् ॥
āśúbhiś cid yā́n ví mucāti nūnáṃ arī́ramad átamānaṃ cid étóḥ | ahyarṣū́ṇāṃ cid ní ayā́n aviṣyā́m ánu vratáṃ savitúr mókī ā́ agāt ||
வேகமான ஓட்டங்களையும் அவன் இப்போது விடுவிக்கிறான்; தன் செல்லுதலில் அசையாதிருந்ததையும் அவன் இயக்கமடையச் செய்தான். பாம்பு-சக்திகளையும் அவன் கீழே இழுத்து நச்சற்ற/தீங்கற்றதாக்கினான்; சவிதாவின் வ்ரதத்தைப் பின்பற்றி, மோக்கிய—விடுதலை அளிக்கும் விமோசனம்—வருகிறது.
